Ranjith Devakumar

  • My name is Ranjith Devakumar and I am a qualified integrative therapeutic counsellor based in London. I’ve had the pleasure of growing up in the best of two worlds; the Sri Lankan community and as a Londoner. I  was born and raised in London, and my ethnic origin is Sri Lankan Tamil. Both cultures have shaped me to be the person I am today but it has been a long journey figuring out who I am and how I fit into these worlds.

Life can present us with various challenges, and finding the right support is crucial. Together, we can navigate the issues you're facing, whether it's related to anxiety, depression, grief, relationships, stress, trauma or personal growth

I bring a deeply empathetic approach tailored to your individual journey. Through genuine acceptance and empathy, I aim to create an environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings. You're not alone in this, I'm here to work together with you to achieve your therapeutic goals.

Our sessions are a safe space where your story is heard and honoured. Whether you seek self-reflection, healing, or fulfilment, our sessions will be an opportunity for us to discuss your needs.

  • Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is something I really enjoy doing a couple of times week. It keeps me grounded, and is great for my physical/mental health.

  • I’m inspired to hear people’s stories and learn from others through their experiences. There’s something very unique about each of our life journeys as it’s never always linear, we are always offered with twists and turns which tend to shape our character and identity that directly affect our relationships, how we view ourselves and the world.
